    Description:

    Features:

    • Additive 101 accelerates polyurethane cure rates and shortens dry film formation time within a wide range of application temperatures. In general, dry times can be decreased from 25-40% depending on the ambient conditions and substrate temperature. With the use of Additive 101, select Carboline 133 & 134 series polyurethanes will continue to cure at temperatures as low as 20°F (-7°C). Refer to specific product cure times for guidance.

    Description:

    Additive 101 is an accelerator used to speed the cure of many solvent-based polyurethane coatings. It can be used in Carboline’s Carbothane Series finishes including the 133 and 134 Series products and Clear Coats. DO NOT USE with water-borne polyurethanes.

  • Additive 8505

    Features:

    • Additive 8505 accelerates atmospheric epoxy cure rates and shortens dry film formation time with a wide range of application temperatures. In general, dry times can be decreased from 25-40%, depending on the ambient conditions and substrate temperature. With the use of Additive 8505, select Carboguard products intended for atmospheric/non-immersion service will continue to cure at temperatures as low as 35 °F (2 °C); applicators shall be aware its use will also shorten pot life times by 40- 50%. Refer to product instructions and cure times for guidance.

    Description:

    Description:

    Description:

    This extremely durable and chemically resistant cladding utilizes a multi-step curing process that incorporates chemically-fused glass flake reinforcing in a highly cross-linked polyester matrix. The resultant layer is an extremely durable barrier against a variety of exposures including marine, fresh water, salt water, both mineral and organic acids, bleach solutions, and free chlorine. The multi-layer glass-flake reinforcement greatly impedes the penetration of water and other corrosives making this system extremely long performing.

    Description:

    Dense, highly impermeable glass flake-filled coating used for protecting steel and concrete. This versatile coating provides an impenetrable film for severe exposures in marine, offshore, petrochemical, pulp and paper and other aggressive environments.     Description:

    Penetrating primer/sealer for use on concrete substrates and Carboline Pyrocrete Fireproofing products. It performs extremely well in sealing cementitious surfaces and is designed to receive a variety of different generic types of finish coats. Some recommended uses of 1340 include the use as a curing compound or form release agent. When applied to “green” concrete it will retard the escape of moisture during the cure period. It is also excellent for use as a form release coating on plywood or steel forms.

    Description:

    Carboguard 1340 WB is a two component, waterborne epoxy primer used as a primer/sealer for concrete substrates. It is particularly effective to prime damp concrete substrates prior to the application of topcoats that might otherwise be compromised by any surface moisture.

    Description:

    Epoxy patching and surfacing compound that exhibits excellent bond strength and chemical resistance to a variety of acids, alkalies, salt solutions and oils. It is used to fill voids and bugholes in precast or poured-in-place concrete and other masonry surfaces. Repairs damaged concrete, fills narrow cracks, and can be used as a coving material for floor-wall transitions or lap joint areas. May also be used to repair weld seams and pits in metal for potable water service with a compatible ANSI/NSF 61 approved lining.

    Description:

    Description:

    Rustbond is a cross-linked penetrating primer/sealer with excellent wetting properties. It is highly flexible with good chemical and solvent resistance, and accept a variety of topcoats. Recommended use as primer/sealers for marginally prepared steel and over old coatings. Its excellent wetting properties allows it to penetrate rust and discontinuities in existing coatings and provide a firm anchorage for a variety of topcoats. Its thixotropic character reduces run off, ensuring that the edges of existing coatings are encapsulated thus reducing undercutting and peeling. It may also be used as a tie-coat for coatings that exceed their “recoat window.” Consult Carboline Technical Services Department for specific recommendations.

    Description:

    Description:

It is therefore ideal for more aggressive exposures on walls and structural components than acrylic-modified epoxies. It may also be used for light to moderate duty floors.

    Description:

    Semstone 805 is a flexible epoxy polymer coating and lining providing a chemical, water and abrasion resistant barrier for steel and concrete. This versatile coating system was developed as a self-leveling, flexible chemical resistant coating and lining and can also be used as a high build coating and lining system with the addition of a third component. Semstone 805 is a 100% solids, low odor, two-component system applied either as a neat system (unfilled), a reinforced system, an aggregate-filled system or as an aggregate filled reinforced system. A bagged Part C thixotropic agent is added for high build applications. It is most often used with reinforcing fabric (#100) over expansion joints.

    Description:

    Semstone 806 is a 100% solids, low odor, rubberized epoxy. It is used as a chemically resistant membrane for concrete. When reinforced with our flexible fabrics it provides a system which will bridge working cracks as well as expansion joints. When reinforced with Semstone 100 fabric, it can bridge crack expansion joint movement up to 1/2” without cracking. This product is a self-leveling material. However, it maybe used as a high build coating system by the addition of a third component, Semstone Thixotrope D, which is a non-silica Thixotrope. When using reinforcing fabric, Thixotrope D is not required. Concrete slabs with severe cracking problems, as well as all construction and expansion joints, may be treated using Semstone 806 with #100 Fabric. This ideal ideal for use as a secondary containment membrane.

    Semstone Fabric 100 is a non-woven geotextile made from polypropylene fibers.     Description:
